Introducing Zoey Huang
Zoey Huang brings over four years of experience as a Mandarin Chinese teacher in Japan, Germany, and at Chung Yuan Christian University in Taiwan. She has taught engineers, diplomats, and business owners in one-on-one settings and realized the need to streamline Chinese teaching programs to focus on practical speaking skills.

Zoey is an excellent translator, and it is easy to ask her more nuanced questions in English and she will understand and provide clear answers on how to approach them in Mandarin. Example: What is the difference between the two noun/verb words for “experience”? 经历 (jīnglì) vs. 经验 (jīngyàn)?
Zoey has a mastery for teaching Mandarin, and I enjoyed my time working with her. We focused mostly on speaking/listening, yet for reading she can teach both simplified and traditional characters. Our classes were solely virtual, and Zoey was able to work around my schedule. I highly recommend Zoey, and would work with her again for further Mandarin tutoring.

I would like to thank you for the 10 times meeting you have taught Samantha very patient, and nice and you don’t differentiate even though Samantha is Special Needs. Samantha also never boring to join your class although that is 2 hours. Samantha always wakes up in the morning to prepare herself before participating in your class every Saturday and Sunday for 5 weeks. For your homework and test, Samantha always tries her best by herself. Samantha was very happy to join and listen to mandarin in your class.
